In close partnership with national research institutions, especially Inra (French national institute for agricultural research), Agrocampus Ouest conducts an ambitious scientific programme covering all the fields of agricultural sciences from biology to economics to biomathematics and food engineering. This approach involves the interaction between different research disciplines from the molecular level right up to that of the producing system in its environment.
Agrocampus Ouest’s research efforts are enhanced through creative collaborations with leading research institutes and consortia around the world.
The synergy between education and research at Agrocampus Ouest is illustrated by the direct involvement of research labs in doctoral training and in the graduate school deployment project.
