Activity in Rennes Atalante
- The life science and environment core facility network in western France, federating both Brittany and Pays de la Loire regions.
- Strategic project for higher education and research, as well as for the economic development in the fields of marine biology, agriculture/food-processing, human health and bioinformatics.
- 2,000 people including 800 researchers and teaching-researchers spread across around 70 research units (Anses, CNRS, Ifremer, Inra, Inria and Inserm), the five main universities of western France, and associated bodies such as university hospitals and higher education establishments.
- Financial support from Brittany and Pays de la Loire regional authorities, the French Ministry of research and the European Union.
- Strategic project for higher education and research, as well as for the economic development in the fields of marine biology, agriculture/food-processing, human health and bioinformatics.
