The Espace des sciences provides information and brings sciences and technologies nearer to the general public.
Products and services
The "Espace des sciences" centre (which could be translated as "Space of sciences") is an organisation dedicated to promote and diffuse, among a large audience, the scientific, technical and industrial culture. The "Space of sciences" centre owns 3 exhibition rooms (each of 300m²) and a 95 seats planetarium. It's open Tuesdays to Wednesdays, from 12.00 to 7.00 p.m, and Saturdays and Sundays, from 2 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
The activity of the "Space of sciences" centre takes many forms : interactive exhibitions, astronomy sessions, scientific mediation, multimedia edition and diffusion (books, monthly magazine, website,...) debates and conferences, touring exhibitions (all over France), events like the organisation of the Sciences Festival... It is also a showcase for public institutions, laboratories and universities to show their projects to the public.
