Astellia, a company from Rennes that specialises in the maximisation of quality of service management and performance for mobile phone networks, has recently been selected by Telus, Canada’s second largest telco, to increase its subscriber satisfaction.
For this contract, said to be worth several million dollars, Astellia will provide its “Service Insurance” system covering every aspect of the Telus 3G network, which includes the latest technological innovations from Astellia such as the multidimensional analysis of data services.
The aim is to enable Telus to respond to the needs of several teams responsible, in particular, for maximising and supervising its network. Astellia’s systems will also help the telco to select the most efficient smartphones and accelerate the use of its new mobile apps while guaranteeing high QoS for its subscribers.
“This major contract is a reflection of excellent opinion of Astellia and its end-to-end monitoring system expressed by leading telcos,” said Rajesh Sharma, Vice-President Sales and Client Operations with Astellia. “Astellia’s overall system […] enables our engineers and customer support teams to identify and quickly solve any problem that occurs on our HSPA network,” stated Raymond Saoumah, National Director of Planning and Engineering with Telus.
The new contract rewards Astellia for the investments it has made in its strategy to gain shares of international markets, especially on the continent of America.
